Nomura has appointed a brand new world co-head of funding banking because the Japanese lender seeks to increase its US and European operations.
Jeff McDermott, who joined Nomura following the acquisition of Greentech Capital Advisors final April, has been named co-head of the worldwide funding enterprise, the corporate stated in a press release.
The appointment takes impact October 1 and McDermott will report back to Masahiro Goto, head of worldwide funding banking, and Christopher Willcox, CEO and president of Nomura Securities Worldwide.
