The Humboldt Broncos Lottery of Money wrapped up on Saturday, April 2, with some fortunate individuals strolling away with a much bigger pockets.
The winner of the $100,000 grand prize was Howard Schemenauer from Lake Lenore; Schemenauer was shocked to listen to the information.
“I had truly forgotten when the draw was, and the end result I assume, was I used to be picked the winner.”
Schemenauer said he doesn’t have any plans for what he’ll do with the $100,000, considering he wouldn’t win the grand prize.
The winner of the 50/50, Dorothy Lake, from Saskatoon, walked away with $44,762.50.
